Engineering work is taking place between Wembley Stadium and High Wycombe, closing all lines.
Owing to HS2 works on the Chiltern Main Line, a heavily amended timetable will be in operation. Some trains will be diverted via alternative routes, and some journeys will involve connecting rail replacement buses and/or London Underground services. Most journey times will be considerably longer than usual.
The following alterations will be in place:
- 1 train per hour: Marylebone - (diverted via alternative route) - Banbury - stations to Birmingham Moor Street.
- 1 train per hour: High Wycombe - Birmingham Snow Hill
- 2 trains per hour: High Wycombe - Oxford
- 2 trains per hour: Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway
- 1 train per hour: Marylebone - stations to Amersham - stations to Aylesbury
Shuttle train service:
- Leamington Spa - stations to Stratford upon Avon
- Leamington Spa - stations to Birmingham Moor Street
A rail replacement bus service will also operate between:
- Amersham - High Wycombe
- Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Bicester Village
- Princes Risborough - stations to Aylesbury
- High Wycombe - Beaconsfield - Gerrards Cross - Denham - Hillingdon - West Ruislip (for connecting London Underground Metropolitan and Central line services).
Ticket acceptance:
London Underground ticket acceptance will be in operation all day:
- Metropolitan line between Hillingdon/Amersham and stations to Baker Street.
- Bakerloo line between Wembley Central and stations to Oxford Circus.
- Central line between West Ruislip and stations to Oxford Circus.
