Severe weather is expected to affect services on the Great Western Railway network. Trains may be delayed, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected from Sunday 21 until 08:00 on Monday 22 January.
London Paddington - Bristol Temple Meads / Swansea
Storm Isha is expected to bring extreme winds across the Great Western Railway network on Sunday evening, reaching speeds of up to 70mph in places.
Speed restrictions due to severe weather may be in place between Bristol Temple Meads and Chippenham, and between Slough and Didcot Parkway. If this is the case, trains are still expected to run, but trains running through these areas will be delayed by at least 35-40 minutes.
A speed restriction will also be in place between Neath and Swansea causing delays of 15 - 20 minutes to those journeys.
Customers may wish to travel earlier, therefore advance tickets for Sunday evening will be valid throughout the day should customers wish to do so.
Depending on the severity of the storm, other areas of the network may also be affected until Monday morning. Please check before you travel.
