Reduced rail replacement service between Barnham and Havant on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September

A lack of available rail replacement services between Barnham and Havant means a reduced rail replacement service will run on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September.

This weekend, Saturday 16 September and Sunday 17 September, engineering works will be taking place between Barnham and Havant, closing all lines. 

Buses are expected to be busier than usual on these days and a very limited replacement bus service will run. 

If you must travel, expect long queues for the rail replacement services that do run. Your journey will take significantly longer than usual. 

Saturday services: 

Buses will replace trains between Arundel / Angmering and Littlehampton / Barnham. A reduced bus service will operate on the following routes: 

• Barnham and Arundel
• Angmering and Barnham via Ford 

There will be no buses running between: 

• Angmering and Arundel 

Sunday services: Buses will run between Horsham and Littlehampton via Arundel. A reduced bus service will operate on the following routes: 

• Horsham and Barnham (a very limited direct service)
• Horsham and Littlehampton
• Angmering and Barnham via Ford

There are far fewer rail replacement buses available than anticipated. This means there is a significantly reduced rail replacement service, so Southern are advising that you avoid travelling on these services, wherever possible.
