The Met Office has issued amber and yellow weather warnings for rain, snow and wind across Great Britain until Thursday 2 January 2025.

As a result, flooding is causing disruption to a number of routes across the TransPennine Express network. Trains may be cancelled, delayed or diverted.

Disruption is expected until Thursday 2 January.

Current disruptions:

  • Between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Oxford Road
  • Between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly
