Due to a landslip between Crowborough and Uckfield all lines are currently closed. As a result, trains will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 16:00.

Customer Advice:

No trains can run between Crowborough and Uckfield. Trains which would run between London Bridge and Uckfield will instead run between London Bridge and Crowborough.

If you are travelling between Crowborough and Uckfield in either direction, you will need to use an alternative route.

You can use your ticket to travel at no extra cost on:

• Southern trains on any reasonable route towards your destination
• Southeastern trains between Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, and London
• Brighton & Hove Buses buses on routes between Uckfield, Crowborough, and Tunbridge Wells

 

Please note that using these alternatives will extend your journey by up to an additional 30 minutes, especially if your route includes replacement road transport.

Southern have requested a number of rail replacement buses to run as a shuttle service between Crowborough, Buxted, and Uckfield, however, these have not yet been confirmed.
