Engineering work is taking place at various locations between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central, closing all lines. There are further works taking place on the West Coast Main Line throughout the Easter weekend causing further alterations to trains.
Avanti West Coast:
No trains will operate to / from London Euston.
A reduced service will operate as follows.
Trains from / to:
Liverpool Lime Street will start / terminate at Rugby.
Glasgow Central will run between Milton Keynes Central and Carlisle, a limited service will run via Dumfries between Carlisle and Glasgow Central.
Manchester Piccadilly trains will start / terminate at Milton Keynes Central and run via Stoke-on-Trent.
Wolverhampton trains will start / terminate at Milton Keynes Central.
Holyhead trains will only run between Crewe and Holyhead.
London Northwestern Railway:
Trains between London Euston and Tring / Milton Keynes Central will not run. A rail replacement bus service will operate between Stanmore (London Underground station) / Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central (not calling at Cheddington between 07:00 and 22:00 hours, with shuttle buses operating between Leighton Buzzard and Cheddington).
Some early morning and late night buses will operate from / to London Euston (instead of from / to Stanmore).
A special train service at reduced frequency will run between Milton Keynes Central and Northampton (two trains per hour).
Trains between London Euston and Crewe will run between Milton Keynes Central and Stafford only. A rail replacement bus service will operate between Stafford and Crewe.
Trains between Birmingham New Street and Northampton / London Euston will run between Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International and between Coventry and Northampton / Milton Keynes Central only (two trains per hour). Rail replacement buses will operate between Birmingham International and Coventry.
London Overground:
It is not yet known how London Overground are affected by these works.
