A problem with the station lighting at Cooden Beach means trains are currently unable to call there.
Disruption is expected until 21:00.
Customer Advice
There is no lighting at Cooden Beach Platform 1. As a result, the following trains cannot stop at this station:
- Services from Ore or Hastings towards London Victoria
- Services from Ashford International towards Eastbourne
Â
If you are travelling on a train towards Cooden Beach, and your train is not calling, please continue to Pevensey & Westham and change there for a service in the opposite direction.
If you are travelling from Cooden Beach towards Eastbourne or London Victoria, please travel in the opposite direction to Collington first, and change for a train to your destination.
Trains can still serve Platform 2, which means services in the opposite direction will still stop.
In addition, some trains which usually run non-stop through the area will serve Pevensey & Westham, Cooden Beach and Collington, heading towards Hastings and Ore, which will provide further connections.
Please leave at least 20 minutes of extra time for your journey tonight.Â
