A fault on a train between Petersfield and Havant means that all lines between these stations are currently closed.

This means that trains are unable to operate, and services between Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour have been revised, operating between Havant and Portsmouth Harbour only.

Disruption is expected to continue until 15:00.

What South Western Railway are doing about it:

A train has developed a fault between Petersfield and Havant. This means that all lines are currently blocked between these stations.

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:

  • Trains between Petersfield and Portsmouth will finish at and start back from Havant

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • Southern services between Havant - Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central
