A person has been hit by a train between Norwich and Lowestoft. To allow the emergency services to safely access the railway and carry out their work, all lines running between these stations are closed.

This means that trains are unable to operate, and will be cancelled.

This is expected until the end of service.

If you've been affected by what happened on the network today, there is always someone to talk to. You can contact the Samaritans on 116 123 from any phone for a confidential chat.

Customer advice:

The final service of the day from Lowestoft to Norwich at 23:30, will be a rail replacement bus service, departing Lowestoft at 23:30 and calling at Oulton Broad North and Norwich only.

Rail replacement buses are unable to call at Reedham, Cantley or Brundall. Passengers for these stations are advised to either talk to station staff, or use the customer help points on stations, from which onward travel can be arranged.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
