A fault with the radio system between the driver and the signaller between Moorgate and Finsbury Park means services between Moorgate and Finsbury Park will be cancelled.
Some services will be revised to start / terminate at London Kings Cross.
Disruption is expected until 07:30.
Customer advice:
Services are unable to run / from Moorgate until further notice. Services that usually run to Moorgate will be diverted after Finsbury Park and will terminate at London Kings Cross instead. Services that usually start at Moorgate will either start at London Kings Cross or Finsbury Park instead.
This means that Moorgate, Old Street, Essex Road, Highbury & Islington and Drayton Park will have no Great Northern services stopping there until further notice.
You'll need to use an alternative route to complete your journey this morning. It's likely that this will take longer than usual, so please allow extra time to account for this - we'd advise an extra 20 minutes.
Tickets will be accepted for no extra cost on the following alternatives:
- Great Northern services to / from London Kings Cross
- Thameslink services to / from London St Pancras International, Farringdon, City Thameslink, London Blackfriars and London Bridge
- London Underground via any reasonable route
- London Buses between Finsbury Park and Moorgate
