Engineering work is taking place between Manningtree / Hythe and London Liverpool Street, closing all lines.

As a result of this, buses will replace trains on the following routes:

• between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street (fast train to connect with Greater Anglia / Stansted Express services towards Stansted Airport)
• between Ipswich and Newbury Park Cetral Line tube station calling at Manningtree, Hythe, Colchester, Marks Tey, Kelvedon, Witham, Hatfield Peverel, Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Shenfield and Newbury Park Central Line tube station.
• between Braintree and Witham
• between Sudbury and Marks Tey

 

Trains will run between Clacton-on-Sea and Colchester Town, and also between Walton-on-the-Naze and Colchester Town. Passengers should change at Hythe for connecting buses to Colchester and beyond.

A shuttle train service will run between Manningtree and Ipswich, and between Manningtree and Harwich Town.

Ticket Acceptance

Customers may use London Underground Central Line services between Newbury Park and Stratford / London Liverpool Street.
