A train hitting an obstruction on the line between Liskeard and Looe is causing disruption to journeys running between these stations.

As a result, trains are currently unable to run between these stations and have been cancelled.

We anticipate disruption will continue until 09:30.

Customer Advice

The 05:57 Liskeard to Looe service struck a tree in the Causeland area. The train was able to continue but some damage was caused which requires an inspection by an engineer. Until this is carried out the service on the line between Liskeard and Looe has been suspended.

While Great Western Railway are unable to run trains they will provide taxis to run between Liskeard and Looe. Before getting in any taxi, please check with the driver that they are working on behalf of Great Western Railway. At Liskeard the taxis will pick up from the booking office.

If you are at Coombe Junction Halt, St Keyne Wishing Well Halt or Causeland please use the customer help point or contact National Rail Enquiries on 03457 484 950 detailing the total number of passengers in your party and your intended destination.
