A fault with the signalling system between Kirkham & Wesham and Blackpool South means that all lines are blocked.
As a result, trains are unable to run between Kirkham & Wesham and Blackpool South. Trains may also be cancelled between Preston and Kirkham & Wesham.
Disruption is expected until 14:15.
Customer Advice:
You may use your ticket at no extra cost between Lytham and Blackpool North on Blackpool Transport services including the bus and tram network.
A rail replacement bus service has been requested to run between stations and you will be updated with details shortly.
Journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes when using road replacement transport.
Network Rail are aware of the fault and engineers are on site.
