Heavy rain has flooded the railway at Bagshot, closing all lines through this station.
This means that trains between Ascot and Aldershot are currently unable to operate, and will be cancelled.
This issue is expected to continue to affect services until 12:00.
What South Western Railway are doing about it:
There is heavy rain flooding the railway at Bagshot. This means that all lines are blocked.
Until further notice, the following service alterations will be necessary:
- Ascot to Aldershot services will be cancelled in both directions
Rail replacement buses have been requested to run between Ascot and Aldershot, calling at all stations. These are expected to be in place by 10:00.
To assist you with your journey, your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost to yourself on the following services:
- Stagecoach south bus route 1 between Aldershot - Farnborough - Frimley - Camberley
- Stagecoach south bus route 2 between Camberley - Frimley - Farnborough
- Stagecoach south bus route 3 between Aldershot - Ash Vale - Frimley - Camberley
- Stagecoach south bus route 11 between Farnborough Main - Camberley - Frimley
- Stagecoach south bus route 19 between Aldershot - Farnham - Haslemere
- Stagecoach south bus route 34 between Camberley - Bagshot - Woking - Guildford
- Thames Valley bus route 194 between Camberley and Bracknell
- White bus route 500 between Staines - Egham - Virginia Water - Sunningdale - Bagshot - Camberley - Frimley
- Newbury & District bus routes 730/731 between Basingstoke - Frimley - Camberley - Bagshot
