Check before you travel if you're making a journey tonight on the Thameslink route between London and West Hampstead Thameslink.
Between 11pm today and 3am tomorrow morning, there'll be no trains between London St Pancras International and West Hampstead Thameslink.
To keep you moving, you can travel on any of the below routes:
London Underground in both directions on the Northern line between London Kings Cross St Pancras and Kentish Town
London Underground in both directions on any line between London Kings Cross St Pancras, Baker Street, and West Hampstead. West Hampstead Underground station is a short, 10 minute walk from West Hampstead Thameslink station.
You don't need to pay anything extra to travel on the London Undergroun but may need to show your rail ticket to Underground staff. They'll let you through the station ticket gates and help you find the correct platform.
London Buses on any bus route between London St Pancras International and either Kentish Town or West Hampstead Thameslink. You don't need to pay any extra for this, just show your rail ticket to the bus driver when you board.
Taking the above alternative routes could add up to 30 minutes extra to your trip tonight so please leave extra time for your journey.
What's happening?
Track engineers are carrying out some urgent repairs to a set of points near Kentish Town station tonight. Points are moveable sections of track that guide trains from one track to another and allow them to cross paths.
To complete the works the line has to be closed and no trains can run between 11pm tonight and 3am tomorrow morning. The repair work tonight will ensure a normal train service is able to run between Bedford, Luton, St Albans, and London tomorrow morning.
