Major engineering work will be taking place during the holiday period. Network Rail carry out essential improvement and engineering work across the rail network during this time as fewer people usually travel by train.
During the August bank holiday weekend in England and Wales, major engineering work will be taking place at the following locations:
London Euston: Engineering work is taking place at various locations between London Euston, Milton Keynes and Northampton. Trains will be running to an amended timetable.
London Charing Cross and London Cannon Street: No trains will run to / from these London terminals on Saturday or Sunday, and London Charing Cross on Bank Holiday Monday.
Moorgate: There will be no services between Finsbury Park and Moorgate, with services diverted to start / terminate at London Kings Cross.
