Lines have reopened through Cambridge following an earlier trespass incident. Trains are returning to normal but may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 19:30.

Following an earlier trespass incident at Cambridge, the person has been escorted from the track by the Police and all lines are once again open. Some disruption is still expected as we recover to our advertised timetable.
Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted between ly and Cambridge on Great Northern services, for customers who were diverted from the Ipswich to Cambridge route, via Ely.

Earlier this evening, trains were unable to run to, from or via Cambridge due to a trespasser causing a disturbance in the area of the station.
All lines have since reopened, but there will still be some delays of up to 25-30 minutes. Late-running trains may not call at all of the usual stations en route.

This disruption has been affecting Thameslink and Great Northern, as well as Greater Anglia and CrossCountry.

Just before 17:00, a person was reported to be running around the track and station premises at Cambridge. They have now been removed, and we are working to resume a good service as soon as possible.
