Following an earlier problem at London Waterloo, lines towards Clapham Junction have reopened. As normal service resumes, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 10:30.
What They Are Doing About It
South Western Railway were informed about reports of smoke coming from Platform 20 to 24 at London Waterloo. All lines have now re-opened. Response teams dealt with the situation and fixed the issue. Train services are now able to run normally, however whilst the service returns to normal, trains services may be delayed, revised or cancelled.
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost, on the following services:
- London Buses between London Waterloo - Clapham Junction- Richmond- Twickenham- Hounslow via any reasonable route.
- London Underground services between London Waterloo â Richmond / Wimbledon and London Paddington via any reasonable route.
