Lines have reopened following a points failure between Tottenham Hale and London Liverpool Street via Hackney Downs. Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised whilst service recovers.

Disruption is expected until 16:30.

Customer advice

Trains were disrupted by a points failure between Tottenham Hale and London Liverpool Street earlier. Points allow trains to move from one line to another, similar to changing lanes in a car on the motorway.

Network Rail response teams have attended and rectified the issue, allowing all lines to re-open.

Service Impact

Trains towards London have been disrupted. Greater Anglia are now working to get trains running back to the timetable.
