Lines have now reopened following emergency services dealing with an incident between London Victoria and Balham. However, whilst service recovers, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 35 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Delays are possible in the Clapham Junction area, affecting services running in both directions. Services are now starting to move again, but delays of up to 35 minutes are possible.

Please allow extra time for your journey this evening and check before you travel. For most journeys, you should be able to travel using your normal route, but if you did wish to use an alternative route then the following ticket acceptance is in place:

  • Southern services via any reasonable route including to/from London Bridge
  • Thameslink services via any reasonable route including between London Blackfriars, East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Brighton and Horsham
  • London Underground services via any reasonable route including between London Terminals
