Lines have reopened following animals on the railway between Hilsea and Fratton. Trains running between Hilsea and Portsmouth Harbour will still need to run at a reduced speed and may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 10:00.

A Swan was blocking the line at Hilsea, stopping all trains from moving. It has now by the side of the railway and trains are having to pass at cautions, causing delays.

South Western Railway

South Western Railway have been informed of animals on the railway between Hilsea and Fratton. This means that trains will have to run at a reduced speed between these stations.
