Following a vehicle striking a bridge near Chestfield & Swalecliffe earlier all lines have reopened. As normal service resumes, trains between Faversham and Margate may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
This is expected until 11:00.
What's happened?
A road vehicle struck a bridge near Chestfield & Swalecliffe station. Trains in the area came to a stop while response staff inspected the bridge for damage. The line has now reopened, however trains have been delayed.
How does this affect my journey?
