Lines have reopened following a fault with barriers at a level crossing between Eastbourne and Ashford International.

Trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised as a result.

Disruption is expected until 10:00.

Staff had been advised of a fault to a set of level crossing barriers. For safety reasons trains were having to go through the affected section at much slower speeds than normal.

Specialist teams are on site and have now fixed the fault and are in their final stages of testing.
