Following a road vehicle colliding with a bridge at Walmer all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised. This is expected until 15:00.

What's happened?

A road vehicle has struck a bridge near Walmer earlier. An inspection of the bridge has taken place and the line reopened.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains between Ramsgate and Dover are able to run, but there may be delays and alterations as we work to return services to normal.

What should I do?

Replacement buses will between Dover and Ramsgate to assist where trains have been cancelled.

You may use your ticket on these Stagecoach bus routes at no extra charge:

• 93 and 81 between Sandwich, Deal and Dover
