Lines have reopened following overrunning engineering works between Royston and Hitchinn. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be delayed.

Network Rail's engineering works had overrun between Royston and Hitchin.
All lines have since reopened, but some Thameslink and Great Northern services have already been delayed by around 10-20 minutes.
You can still use your normal route, but please leave some extra time.

We have now had confirmation from Network Rail that engineering works have been concluded after earlier issues. Thameslink and Great Northern will return to their timetable as soon as they can.
