Lines have now reopened following an earlier fault with the signalling system between Gravesend and Ebbsfleet International.
As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 08:00.
What's happened?
A signalling problem has occurred near Gravesend, and the line from Gravesend towards the High Speed route at Ebbsfleet is blocked. Response staff are on site, and are able to control the affected equipment manually so that trains can run through. However to allow the staff access to do this, fewer trains are able to run between Gravesend and Northfleet.
How does this affect my journey?
London bound trains between Ramsgate, Faversham, Maidstone West & St Pancras via Gravesend are now able to run, but may be delayed between Gravesend and Ebbsfleet.
Some trains between Gravesend and London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street will be unable to run between Northfleet and Gravesend.
