Lines have now reopened following an earlier safety inspection of the track between Glenfinnan and Lochailort.
As service recovers, trains running between Glasgow Queen Street and Mallaig may still be revised.
This is expected until 17:00.

Rail replacement transport will operate between Fort William and Mallaig, in place of the earlier cancelled services.
