Strike action has been announced by the RMT Union on 20, 22 and 29 July.

Thursday 20 July:

A very limited service will be in operation between approximately 08:00 and 22:00, structured as follows:

  • 1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Banbury
  • 1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Oxford
  • 1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Aylesbury (via High Wycombe)
  • 1 train per hour between Amersham and Aylesbury Vale Parkway

No Chiltern Railways services will operate on the following routes:

  • between Banbury -and Birmingham Moor Street / Stourbridge Junction
  • between Hatton and Stratford-upon-Avon

Saturday 22 July:

A very limited service will be in operation between approximately 08:00 and 22:00, structured as follows:

  • 1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Banbury
  • 1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Oxford
  • 1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Aylesbury (via High Wycombe)

No Chiltern Railways services will operate on the following routes:

  • between Banbury -and Birmingham Moor Street / Stourbridge Junction
  • between Hatton and Stratford-upon-Avon

Additionally, the railway is closed between Amersham and Aylesbury all day due to planned engineering works. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with London Underground services to / from Baker Street at Amersham:

  • Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway

Saturday 29 July:
