Chiltern Railways services will be affected by industrial action on the following dates:

  • Saturday 1 October 2022 (strike action by ASLEF and RMT unions)
  • Wednesday 5 October 2022 (strike action by ASLEF union)
  • Saturday 8 October 2022 (strike action by RMT union)

 

Saturday 1 October - Strike day

There will be NO Chiltern Railways services.

Sunday 2 October 

There will be NO train services before approximately 09.00. The start of service will be between 09.00 and 10.00 and there will be minor timetable changes until approximately 11.00.

Wednesday 5 October - Strike day

There will be NO Chiltern Railways services.

Saturday 8 October - Strike day 

You're strongly advised to only travel if absolutely essential. A significantly reduced timetable will be in place on the strike day. Details of how services will be affected on this day will be available soon. 

Ticket information

Tickets booked for 1 October will be valid between 30 September - Tuesday 4 October.

Tickets booked for 5 October will be valid between Tuesday 4 October - Friday 7 October.

Tickets booked for 8 October will be valid between Friday 7 October - Tuesday 11 October. 

Please note, if you ticket included travel on London Underground services it will only be valid on the date the ticket states and not on the alternative days.

Check before you travel:

The National Rail Enquiries Journey Planner will be updated on Tuesday 27 September for the services on Saturday 1 October and on Thursday 29 September for the services on Wednesday 5 October. The industry is still working on the plans for Saturday 8 October.
