What has happened?
There is a fault with the signalling system between Loughborough Station and Trent South Junction. This will disrupt East Midlands Railway services on the London St Pancras International / Nottingham / Sheffield and the Leicester / Nottingham / Lincoln / Grimsby routes.
Network Rail are arranging fault teams to go to the affected area and carry out investigations into the fault.

How does this affect my train?
Trains running between Loughborough and Trent South Junction will be unable to run in either direction, until the signalling is restored.
At present we are expecting the problem to be fixed in the next hour. As soon as the problem is fixed East Midlands Railway priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. East Midlands Railway expect their advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 06:00.
