Customer Advice
An empty train, which was due to form the 2108 East Croydon - Three Bridges service, broke down in a position across one of the junctions north of East Croydon station.
This train is now on the move, but your journey via East Croydon may be delayed. This is due to the congestion which formed before the defective train could enter a platform at the station.
Some services may also be revised to call at fewer stations; may run in a different order through East Croydon, Purley, Redhill and Gatwick Airport; or may call at different platforms at major stations. Please listen carefully to announcements and check the station screens before you board your train.
