A collision at a level crossing at Billingshurst means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Customer Advice
No trains are able to run along the Arun Valley, between Arundel and Horsham until further notice. Please delay your journey until later if possible as your journey will be extended by at least 60 minutes if you travel now.
Trains that would normally run to Horsham after Barnham will now run between Barnham and Three Bridges via Hove, and the following stations will not be served in either direction:
- Arundel
- Amberley
- Pulborough
- Billingshurst
- Christ's Hospital
The service groups this includes are:
- trains that normally run between Southampton and London Victoria
- trains that normally run between Portsmouth and Southsea and London Victoria
- trains that normally run between Bognor Regis and London Victoria
Replacement buses:
Southern have requested buses from their suppliers, but haven't had confirmation of these yet.

- South Western Railway between Southampton / Portsmouth and London Waterloo, including between Guildford and Gatwick Airport
- Great Western Railway between Reigate and Gatwick Airport
- Thameslink between Horsham and London
- London Underground via any reasonable route

A train is reported to have gone over some level crossing barriers just south of Billingshurst, blocking the lines in both directions. There is an investigation under way as to how these got on the track, and to determine the damage caused to both trains and track.
Network rail and Southern teams are making their way to site, and we will update this message when more is known.
