At the moment, Thameslink are working with local staff and colleagues at Network Rail to assess the situation.

We've had a report of police needing to investigate an incident on a train in the Herne Hill area. The affected line is currently blocked by the train in question. This means trains can't run through this station towards Sutton or Wimbledon until the incident is resolved, and your journey will be delayed.

Thameslink are working closely with local staff, the police and Network Rail to ensure this incident is dealt with as quickly and safely as possible. They will be making sure other passengers and staff are looked after as far as possible, and ensuring that the train and local railway infrastructure are safe to use.
