The emergency services dealing with an incident earlier today at Ramsgate means that there is some service disruption as normal service resumes. Trains at this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 22:00.

What's happened?

The emergency services are attending an incident at Ramsgate, which required the power to be turned off to allow them safe access to the tracks. They are now safely clear of the railway, and power has been restored, allowing trains to resume running in the Ramsgate area.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains on the following routes have been delayed by up to 30 minutes in the Ramsgate area, and may be altered or cancelled as we work to restore normal service:

  • London St Pancras to Ramsgate via Dover Priory
  • London St Pancras to Margate via Canterbury West
  • London St Pancras to Ramsgate via Faversham
  • London Victoria to Ramsgate via Chatham
  • Charing Cross to Ramsgate/Dover Priory via Maidstone East
