A points failure is causing disruption to journeys running to / from Portsmouth Harbour.
As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Southern
Due to a points failure in the Hilsea area, no trains can run from Portsmouth in the direction towards Havant. Trains which run from Southampton towards Havant are not affected.
If you are travelling from Portsmouth towards Barnham or Brighton, you will need to use an alternative route to reach your destination, and your journey may take up to 30 minutes longer than usual.
You can use your ticket to travel at no extra cost on:
- South Western Railway services between Portsmouth and Southampton Central, and between Southampton and Clapham Junction
- London Underground on any reasonable route
- Stagecoach buses route 700 between Portsmouth, Havant, Chichester, Bognor Regis, and Littlehampton.
