A broken down train at London Charing Cross is causing disruption at this station. Trains may be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 20:00.
What's happened?
A train has broken down at London Charing Cross reducing the number of platforms available to our services this evening. The fault with the train means that it has to be moved at a slow speed to the depot, which can't be done during the rush hour without causing long delays to the services following it, so it will be moved later this evening instead.
How does this affect my journey?
Fewer trains are able to run to and from London Charing Cross this evening, and some services will terminate at, or start their journeys from stations outside of London.
There will be some alterations and cancellations to services on the following routes:
- London Charing Cross to Hayes
- London Charing Cross to Dartford
- London Charing Cross to Hastings
- London Charing Cross to Ramsgate
