A fault with the signalling system at London Bridge means all lines are blocked. Services running to / from this station may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or diverted between East Croydon and London Blackfriars.

At 14:45 Network Rail will issue a 30 minute block at London Bridge in order to investigate an issue with the signalling system at London Bridge.
While this block happens Thameslink services from East Croydon towards London Bridge will be diverted after East Croydon to London Blackfriars not calling at London Bridge.
This diversion will add up to 15 minutes to your journey.
If you are at East Croydon and require London Bridge please travel on alternative Southern services to London Bridge or change at London Blackfriars for a Southbound service which can call as normal.

In this particular situation the fault has been confirmed as a 'Track Circuit Failure'. This means the signalling system is unable to automatically verify if the next section of track past the affected signal is clear.
The rail network is designed so that if a signal stops working, trains will stop before they reach it. Whilst this issue is ongoing, train crew will stop at the affected signal and contact the signalling centre to confirm their location. At this point the signaller will verbally authorise the driver to continue towards the next signal. This process adds time to every train's journey, which means services can experience short delays.
