A points failure at Gatwick Airport is causing disruption to journeys at the station. Trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 15 minutes.

Please be advised that your journey will be extended by approximately 15 minutes through Gatwick Airport. Platform alterations are to be expected, so please check journey planners and customer information screens prior to departure.
Your Thameslink and Southern tickets will be accepted on the following local bus routes:
- 272 for Crawley, Three Bridges, Haywards Heath, Wivelsfield, Burgess Hill, Brighton
- 271 / 273 for Crawley, Haywards Heath, Wivelsfield, Burgess Hill, Hassocks, Brighton
- 100 Three Bridges, Gatwick,Horley,Salfords,Earlswood,Redhill

Trains are able to run through Gatwick Airport towards Brighton; however, less lines are available through the station.
Can you tell me more about the incident?
We received reports that the points which serve platforms 2 and 3 at Gatwick Airport have failed. Specialist engineers from Network Rail are on route to the site.
Points are movable sections of track which enable trains to move from one line to another.
