A fault with the signalling system in the Cambridge area means trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 10:00.
Advice for Greater Anglia customers:
Due to a signal fault between Shelford and Cambridge services running from Cambridge to Liverpool Street are having to run at a much slower, safe speed, past a Red Signal. This is being done to keep the railway safe. Due to the slower speed, congestion is expected, leading to delays and cancellations.
Network Rail engineers are on site and looking to rectify the fault.
Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on Great Northern trains between Cambridge and London Kings Cross and also on London Underground services between London Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street.
Advice for Great Northern and Thameslink customers:
Delays of around 10-15 minutes are possible between Cambridge and Royston, affecting London-bound trains.
