A tree blocking the railway at Wadhurst means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.
What's happened?
A tree was reported as causing a danger to trains in the Wadhurst area. The line towards Hastings has been blocked for safety reasons, and trains are now being held on the line towards London while staff locate the tree.
Staff have located the precarious trees; the site will be temporarily made safe for the passage of trains to allow services already on the line towards Hastings to move past the site, then the line will be blocked again for full removal of the trees to take place.
