No trains are able to run between Sutton and West Croydon until further notice. Please allow an extra 60 minutes to complete your journey as you will have to travel via an alternative route.
The following service plan will be in place:
- Trains that normally run between Sutton and London Victoria via West Croydon are cancelled
- Trains that normally run between Epsom Downs and London Victoria via West Croydon are cancelled
- Trains that normally run between Epsom and London Bridge via West Croydon are cancelled

- London Buses on any reasonable route south of the city
- Alternative Southern trains to and from London Victoria and London Bridge
- Thameslink services between Sutton and London Blackfriars and between East Croydon and London Bridge

Earlier this morning a vehicle collided with a wall on a bridge over the railway. The impact was sufficient enough to propel bricks on to the railway below. Until the bridge is inspected, the track below cleaned up and inspected for damage, and the over-bridge made safe no trains can run between Sutton and West Croydon.
