A fault with the signalling system at Hamble is causing disruption to journeys between Southampton Central and Fareham. As a result, trains between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 10 minutes.
We anticipate this to continue until 10:00.

What is happening with the train service?
Services which run between Brighton and Southampton Central will run as booked, but may experience delays of up to 10 minutes in the Hamble / Netley area.
Services which run between London Victoria and Southampton Central, will now be diverted into Bognor Regis. You will need to change trains at Barnham for services towards Southampton.
Ticket acceptance
If you find your train is cancelled you may want to consider using South Western Railway services between Portsmouth, Southampton and London to complete your journey. Your ticket will be accepted at no additional cost.

Southern have been advised of a fault with the signalling system in the Hamble station area. To reduce further delay or cancellations down the line, fewer trains are able to run through the area. Network Rail engineers are aware and investigating the issue.
