A failure of the electricity supply between St Denys and Swanwick is resulting in the Havant bound line being blocked.
Trains between Southampton Central and Fareham may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or diverted via Eastleigh. Disruption is expected until 14:00.
Southern Customer Advice:
Trains are unable to run between Southampton Central towards Fareham via Swanwick.
Wherever possible, Southern services will still run between Southampton Central and Brighton/London, but they will be diverted via Eastleigh.
Southern expect this will take up to 20 minutes longer than usual. Please leave extra time for your journey.
For stations between Bitterne and Swanwick inclusive, we are assessing the best alternatives for your journey. South Western Railway usually manage replacement transport in this area, so Southern will be working with them.
A few cancellations may also occur at short notice.

Until further notice, services between Southampton Central and Fratton will be diverted via Eastleigh and will not call at stations between St Denys and Fareham.
