Disruption between Southampton Central and Bournemouth expected until the end of the day

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Southampton Central and Bournemouth resulting in all lines being blocked.

Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

To help with your journey, tickets will be accepted on South Western Railway services via any reasonable route.

South Western Railway customer advice:
Until further notice, the following alterations will apply:

• Train services from London Waterloo to Weymouth / Poole will terminate at Southampton Central. They will then return to London Waterloo, subject to crew availability.
• Train services from Weymouth / Poole towards London Waterloo will terminate at Bournemouth. They will then return to Poole / Weymouth, subject to crew availability.

 

 

To help you with your journey, rail replacement buses have been requested to run between Southampton Central and Bournemouth.
