An obstruction on the track between Upper Warlingham and Oxted means the line towards Uckfield and East Grinstead is blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed.

Disruption is expected until 13:45.

Customer Advice:

No trains are able to run on the line between East Croydon and Oxted until further notice. Trains that are on the line already will be held until the obstruction has been moved.

  • Alternative Southern services between Lewes/Haywards Heath/Three Bridges and London
  • Southeastern services between Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and London
  • London Underground between London terminal stations

Can you tell me more about the incident?

There has been a report of an obstruction on the railway, and this is now causing some disruption to services. Your train may be held on approach to the area, or it may need to be terminated before it gets to this part of the network.

Network Rail staff will be attending to remove the obstruction as quickly as they can. Unfortunately, it's not possible to try to run trains past this. Staff are closely monitoring progress updates.
