A road vehicle colliding with level crossing barriers between Rochester and Rainham means some lines are disrupted. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised. This is expected until 11:45.

A lorry has collided with level crossing barriers at Gillingham.

Network Rail response staff are en-route.

There will be no service between Rainham and Gillingham, while Network Rail colleagues inspect a set of level crossing barriers that have been run into.

Can you tell me more about the incident?

Staff are working closely with Network Rail to ensure the barriers are fixed and trains can move as soon as possible. Until this is done, your train may be held on approach to the area or revised at short notice.

At times, response staff may be able to attend and control the level crossing manually, and if this is an option, it'll be put in place as quickly as possible.
