No trains can move between Peterborough and Hitchin because of a person hit by a train. Nearby trains are being held at stations and won't move forward until the emergency services have safely reopended the railway.
Allow plenty of extra time for your journey this afternoon.
If you have not yet set off to the station, please travel later on today.
If you can't delay your journey and need to travel by train now then this will take a lot longer than usual, and you will need to use a different route to get around the line closure.

- You can travel on other Thameslink and Great Northern trains between London and Hitchin.
- We've asked for rail replacement buses to run between Hitchin and Peterborough. These buses will be confirmed shortly.
