A failure of the electricity supply between Peterborough and Huntingdon is causing disruption to journeys running between Peterborough and Stevenage.
As all lines are currently blocked, services may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
We anticipate this to continue until 19:00.

You may use your ticket on East Midlands Railway services between Sheffield and London St Pancras International to assist with your journey.
Great Northern and Thameslink
Services cannot run between Huntingdon and Peterborough.
You will need to leave at least 60 minutes extra and use another means to complete your journey this afternoon.
At present services which normally run all the way to Peterborough, will instead terminate and restart back from Huntingdon.

Rail replacement buses have been requested but nothing has been confirmed.

A train has reported a problem with it's pantograph which may mean there is a fault with the overhead electric wires. Network Rail are en route to the site to investigate the incident.
