There is a fault with the signalling system. This is between Nottingham and Grantham and is disrupting our trains on the Nottingham / Grantham / Skegness, Liverpool Lime Street / Nottingham / Norwich,

At present Network Rail have a fault team en route, they are estimated to arrive at 05:40

How does this affect my train?
Â
Trains will be unable to run in both directions between Nottingham and Grantham,
Â
Services between Nottingham, Grantham and Skegness - where possible will be diverted between Nottingham and Sleaford and will not stop at Grantham, this will also apply to trains departing Skegness for Nottingham

Services between Liverpool Lime Street, Nottingham and Norwich - where possible will be diverted between Nottingham and Peterborough and will not stop at Grantham, this will also apply to trains departing Norwich for Liverpool Lime Street

At present we have no estimate for when the line will reopen, we will get an update once the fault team are on site.

How do I get where I need to be?

Our trains that are diverted will not be able to stop at Grantham and will be delayed by up to 60 minutes, we will also have some late notice cancellations if some trains are unable to be diverted. Please use the online journey planners to check to see if your train is affected.

You may use your tickets to travel on LNER services between Peterborough and Grantham, in both directions
