What's happened?
Network Rail have advised us of a failure of the electricity supply near Herne Bay which means that the line between Faversham and Margate is blocked in both directions.
Trains are currently in the process of returning to platforms and response staff are on their way to begin work to fix the issue.
How does this affect my journey?
No trains can currently run between Margate and Faversham due to this incident. Alternative transport options are currently being investigated.
